Hello, my name is Danica Mae Gall. I am 24 years old and I am from Saint Joseph, Missouri. I currently reside in Kansas City, MO with my best friend Joe.
I attended Benedictine College where I majored in Business Marketing. I currently work in Overland Park, KS. In my free time I enjoy working out, listening to music, painting, reading, and writing. I am not afraid of anything and would like to sky dive one day. I was diagnosed with Bipolar in August 2020 and haven’t had a manic episode since. For 2 years I struggled with the illness before being professionally diagnosed. If you or a loved one is experiencing symptoms of Bipolar, I highly suggest you seek help from a medical professional.
About The book
Living in a Dream The Life of Being Bipolar depicts events that occurred between January 2019 and August 2020.
In these two years I experienced both manic and depressive episodes leading to my diagnosis of Bipolar. From thinking I was religious beings to deep dark depressive episodes and everything in between, this book recounts all my Bipolar episodes. I hope by reading this that you can gain a better insight to what it is truly like to be Bipolar. In reading this book I hope you will be more aware of yourself and others who unknowingly may be suffering of Bipolar. I hope that this spreads awareness of what it is like to suffer from Bipolar. If you recognize symptoms in others or yourself please seek help from a medical professional. Let’s talk about mental health and end the stigma.
